Replacement for G-2025 GSM Gate Opener
The three major network providers in Australia shut down their 3G networks in January 2024 (Vodafone) and November 2024 (Telstra and Optus), switching to a different technology for voice calls called VoLTE (Voice over Long-Term Evolution). This impacted devices in Australia, including mobile phones, smartwatches, tablets, phone diallers etc. This switchover also affected the G-2025, which stopped supporting voice calls.
The G4000 was designed as a compatible replacement using high-quality Telstra-approved Canadian 4G modules. The G4000 GSM dialler is designed for the remote control of gates, doors, garages and other electrical devices. Users can manage entry points by simply calling the device’s phone number from their mobile phones, removing the need for traditional keys or access cards. It is equipped with Bluetooth capabilities, allowing users to update device settings wirelessly through the Elsema Mobile App. This allows users to make changes to the G4000 on-site without the need to bring it near a computer.
The G4000 also offers the convenience of setup via SMS commands, allowing users to configure the device remotely. This feature enables easy management and quick updates without requiring physical access to the unit. Additionally, the Elsema Desktop App provides a user-friendly interface for importing bulk numbers directly from an Excel file, reading numbers from the G4000 and exporting them back to an Excel file.
