MCR91502P & MCR91502PT
Two Channel Multicode Series Plug-in type Receiver
The MCR91502P model is designed as a plug-in type, facilitating quick and easy installation. For those requiring a more secure connection, the MCR91502PT version includes a screw terminal block, providing a stable and reliable connection for more demanding setups. Combined with our relay cards, these receiver’s can be used to switch bigger loads.
This model is our most compact receiver, measuring just 55 x 44 x 13 mm. Despite its small size, it is exceptionally powerful, leveraging the latest Mosfet technology to deliver two high performance outputs. Each output is capable of handling a high switching current of 2 Amps at 40VDC, ensuring reliable performance even in demanding applications.
The receiver incorporates advanced Multicode Technology (MCT), which offers dual digital coding options to meet diverse needs. With MCT, users can choose between encrypted coding for enhanced security or a 12-way dipswitch for standard applications. This versatility allows the receiver to adapt to a range of environments, from general use to those requiring stringent security measures.
The sophisticated integration of Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) technology alongside MCT enhances the receiver’s functionality. FHSS is a technology often found in high end, expensive equipment used in military and medical fields. It provides exceptional resistance to interference and eavesdropping, ensuring reliable and secure communication.

How small is the MCR91502P?
The MCR91502P is Elsema’s most compact receiver, with dimensions of just 55 x 43 x 13 mm. Despite its small footprint, it uses advanced MOSFET technology to provide powerful switching capabilities.
What is the difference between the MCR91502P and the MCR91502PT?
The MCR91502P is a plug-in receiver featuring a 6-way plugin connection for easy installation. The MCR91502PT version is equipped with a screw terminal block, which is better suited for setups requiring a direct and secure wired connection.
What type of outputs does this receiver have?
The MCR91502P features two Open Collector outputs. These outputs utilize MOSFET technology and are capable of handling a switching current of up to 2 Amps at 40VDC each.
Can I use this receiver to switch larger electrical loads?
While the open collector outputs are rated for 2 Amps, the receiver can be combined with Elsema relay cards if you need to switch larger AC or DC loads. This setup allows the compact receiver to control heavy-duty machinery or lighting.
What is the benefit of Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) technology?
The MCR91502P uses FHSS technology—a standard typically reserved for high-end military and medical equipment. This technology allows the device to switch frequencies constantly, making it exceptionally resistant to interference and unauthorized eavesdropping.
What are the two coding options available via Multicode Technology (MCT)?
The receiver offers two digital coding methods:
- Encrypted Coding: Best for high-security applications to prevent code copying.
- 12-way Dipswitch: Ideal for standard applications where manual code matching is required.
How many remote controls can be programmed to the receiver?
The MCR91502P features unlimited storage capability. You can pair an unlimited number of Multicode series transmitters with a single receiver, making it a perfect solution for large-scale commercial or residential access control.
What is the required supply voltage for operation?
The receiver is compatible with a wide range of DC power sources, operating on a supply voltage between 7 and 36 Volts DC.
What output modes can be configured?
The receiver supports two primary output modes:
- Momentary: The output stays active only while the transmitter button is being pressed.
- Latching: The output toggles between ON and OFF with each subsequent press of the transmitter button.
